The following provides a detailed description for the position of Fitness Consultant. Actual duties performed may vary slightly.

The Fitness Consultant has overall responsibility for promoting, selling, implementing and practicing the programs, policies, and procedures pertaining to 24e Health Clubs.

Duties

  • Maintaining and generating clientele internally and externally with good intentions
  • Present a healthy lifestyle and fitness professionalism at all times
  • Have a thorough understanding of overall club systems and operations and enforce procedures and policies
  • Generates a minimum of 30 new members every month
  • Participates in overall gym cleaning and up keep of equipment restroom and working areas
  • Works the front desk in accordance with all policies and procedures in relation to the greeting guests, members, POS station, telephone inquiries, and systems
  • Participates in all meetings and trainings that require the presence of a Fitness Consultant, deemed by the General Manager of 24e Health Clubs.
  • Overall duties will be performed with a scientific mind and practice; regarding professional/ethical intentions.
  • Any other tasks assigned by General Manager.
  • Shows up to work on time and in uniform.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of gym equipment
  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 45 lbs. Correctly, safely, and repeatedly
  • Ability to work with people and take direction

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver’s License (Preferred)
