This is a slow and gentle yet challenging practice that stretches the fascia in your body. Fascia is the deep connective tissue. Yin Yoga
Location: Mind Body Studio
This is a slow and gentle yet challenging practice that stretches the fascia in your body. Fascia is the deep connective tissue. It surrounds your muscles and joints, and needs time and gravity to release. Yin is meditative and emphasizes stillness while your body is in the postures. We hold each yin yoga pose for 2-5 minutes. Lauren has recently earned an additional 20 hour Yin Yoga certification through YogaRenew. A Yin yoga practice compliments your weight training and cardiovascular activities.
