InBody’s medical-grade body composition analyzers use four pillars of technology to provide accurate, precise direct segmental measurement multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis. Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) is a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water.

Designed for Silver Sneakers, but appropriate for any age, this class is a one hour blast of a cardio, strengthening and a balance segments, using the resistance of water. It’s a “boot camp“ style class, set to fun energizing music.

Aqua Zumba

This is a 45 min workout that combines traditional aquatic exercises with Zumba music. The result? A non-stop low- impact cardio workout with moves that focus on the muscles of the core combined with muscle strengthening exercises that work both the upper and lower body for a fun, total- body experience. Given the low-impact nature of the class, Aqua Zumba is suitable for all ages. However, low impact doesn’t mean low intensity. Get a great workout due to the buoyancy and viscosity of the water, which makes performing moves more challenging even as the impact forces on your joints are significantly reduced. Cardio. Yin Yoga

Location: Mind Body Studio

This is a slow and gentle yet challenging practice that stretches the fascia in your body. Fascia is the deep connective tissue. It surrounds your muscles and joints, and needs time and gravity to release. Yin is meditative and emphasizes stillness while your body is in the postures. We hold each yin yoga pose for 2-5 minutes. Lauren has recently earned an additional 20 hour Yin Yoga certification through YogaRenew. A Yin yoga practice compliments your weight training and cardiovascular activities.

Yin Yoga

Location: Mind Body Studio

This is a slow and gentle yet challenging practice that stretches the fascia in your body. Fascia is the deep connective tissue. It surrounds your muscles and joints, and needs time and gravity to release. Yin is meditative and emphasizes stillness while your body is in the postures. We hold each yin yoga pose for 2-5 minutes. Lauren has recently earned an additional 20 hour Yin Yoga certification through YogaRenew. A Yin yoga practice compliments your weight training and cardiovascular activities.
